You can expect your newborn session with me to be relaxed, and calm. The first few days after your baby arrives can be a *little bit chaotic, with getting to grips with your new job, alongside what can sometimes be a revolving door of visitors and appointments! When you come to The Cow Shed Studio, you can slow down, relax and drink an actual hot drink, while it is hot!
When you come to The Cow Shed Studio, I want you to have an experience to remember for all of the right reasons, as well as having images that you love and want to put up all over your home. Sessions here are never rushed – your baby is in charge! I work with your little one’s mood and comfort level, and adjust the session to go along with them. We take breaks for feeding, changing and comforting whenever baby needs. The studio is an inviting, warm space, with a comfy sofa for you to sit, relax and drink your tea, while not trying to do 65367 other things at the same time. The kitchen has a coffee machine, a bunch of different teas (including the awesome Biscuit Brew!) and if you are lucky, and I haven’t eaten them all, my homemade brownies.
We recommend booking your session as early as possible – most clients do this around the time of their 20week scan. This gives us plenty of time to prepare for your session, but more importantly, you will have that peace of mind that you are in the diary before baby arrives.
The ideal time to photograph a Newborn is between 5-18 days old, as they are still all snuggly and sleepy and can be safely posed to create those beautiful first images. If you’ve missed this window though, do still get in touch – the session might look a little different, but we can still capture some gorgeous memories.
£99 non-refundable booking fee is required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your final collection order
